Awakening: The Dreamless Castle game

Sophia has been sleeping for a hundred years, only to awaken in a castle with no recollection of who she is, and no idea how or why she is there. You are going to love the journey as you explore the exquisitely beautiful hidden scenes and solve cleverly designed puzzles in order to get to the bottom of this strange mystery. It can be quite a task, but fortunately, as with any good fairy tale, there is a helpful fairy to guide you in your times of need. If you find yourself stuck along the way, simply ask her for help. You can ask as much as you want, however you will need to wait for her to recharge if you are using "hints" fast and furiously.

This game is packed with well crafted puzzles, sure to keep you intrigued and on your way to solving the mystery of who you are, why you're there, and what your destiny is. You will be presented with several mini games, some of which must be completed in order for you to acquire some of your inventory items. The hidden object scenes are fantastic works of art with items cleverly placed rather than just stuffed into a cluttered collage. All of the puzzles and environments carry you through the game with a consistent "fantasy" fairy tale feel.

Awakening: The Dreamless Castle is supposed to be an adventure/hidden object game, it plays more like a series of mini games, in that there are truly only 5 actual hidden object scenes. Other puzzles include the classic Simon says arrangement, jigsaw, and matching as well as "Goblinjong," which is mahjong solitaire. Of course, if you are impatient, or simply annoyed with a particular mini game, you can always skip it, and the only consequence is waiting for the skip button to charge.

The voice acting is superb, the fairies are exquisite and the scenes are simply gorgeous. You'll be entranced as you make your way through this mysterious fairy tale. Although the length of game play is a bit shorter than usual, players will not be disappointed. In addition, when you beat the game, "Goblinjong" is unlocked for anytime play, which is great news for Mahjong solitaire lovers!
