There is an old legend saying that centuries ago a fairytale princess kissed a frog and the frog turned into a beautiful prince. According to the legend, this prince was cast out of his kingdom and he was freed from a curse by the beautiful princess. Dark Parables: The Exiled Prince presents a different version of the story, one that didn't reach its happy end yet. According to the game's story, the frog prince is alive and travels the Black Forest awaiting for travelers that get there by accident. He doesn't seem to be the nice prince to wait for his princess, but instead the ugly frog that kidnaps the visitors of the forest. The chancellor's daughter adds to the list of missing persons and you will play the role of the investigator sent to search for her.

Dark Parables: The Exiled Prince is a great hidden object adventure created by those from, Big Fish Games. The creative team of Big Fish Games did a great job when combining this mysterious story with brilliantly designed puzzles. It is clear when playing the game that they did their best to thrill players with enchanting images that transcends them into the deserted forest. The graphic is of good quality and gives the impression of really being one of the game's characters. Also, there is a great sense of proportions, this game offering a harmonious balance between an interesting adventure and a moderately dark story.

This adventure game is free from minuses that many times characterize hidden object games, such as monotony and repetitive tasks. The puzzles are amazingly well created and not boring at all, while the story is really catchy.
