Pam discovered a mystic medallion while on an excavation trip. She is only home for a day before she is kidnapped and James, her boyfriend, is off to find her. He believes he knows where she might be after doing some brief research at the library, which begins his strange journey. James finds himself on a mysterious island where he is faced with challenging puzzles in what appear to be ancient and abandoned structural remains. In the beginning, you may think you know how this will end, but Island: The Lost Medallion comes through with an interesting and unexpected conclusion.

The scenes are artistically detailed and definitely interesting, which is good because you will be doing lots of exploring! The hidden object scenes are packed with items. Some of the puzzles are tricky in that you must find all of the items in order to use them in another puzzle. You must look carefully, as these objects are very well hidden and some of them may be smaller than usual. Don't worry, if you find yourself stuck, you can always use the rechargeable hints.

The mini games vary and keep the hidden object aspect from becoming monotonous. They can be quite challenging, so be sure to put your thinking cap on! If you choose, you may skip them, but they are definitely worth a try. Island: The Lost Medallion is sure to give players a challenging and amusing experience.
