The story of Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles is the popular story of the malefic demon that haunted the baron of Baskerville's domains for 350 years, a land that is situated in the desolating swamps of England. No one knows whether the huge and savage beast is a supernatural curse or is an animal that kills as ordered by a person. After sir Charles Baskerville becomes the most recent victim of this curse, him dying in dubious circumstances, sir Henry Baskerville, one of the successors, inherits the land. He returns from Canada to take the ownership of the land, but he soon dies too. The Baskerville family then needs the help of Sherlock Holmes in order to break the curse before another crime occurs. The detective and his help, Dr. Watson, arrive on the Baskerville family's land and start looking for clues. They have many suspects, more possible explanations of the mystery, but they know for sure that one criminal must be found.

When it comes to the design and game play of Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles, the opinions are different one from the other. No scene will captivate you enough, but most of the locations really look great. The problem is that the graphic has no essentially original characteristics. However, the complex story and the well structured game play make this one of the most popular hidden object and puzzle games that are available for interested players.
