With all of the new reading and movie hype surrounding vampires, it is no surprise it has become a theme for the adventure/hidden object game genre. Casual gamers will love this dark and amusing adventure. You will assume the character of Michael Christensen (who bares an uncanny resemblance to Keanu Reeves), a Rockwell & Rockwell employee who is in a position to be promoted.

Unfortunately, this opportunity has presented itself because the person who previously held the position literally went crazy. Why? It may have something to do with Malgray Manor, the ancient and chilling mansion you have been assigned to appraise before it an be sold at auction.

When you arrive at the dark and bizarre manor, it doesn't take you long to arrive at the conclusion that something is amiss. You will eventually realize that you will not only be appraising the mansion's value, you will also be accruing clues to its ancient mysteries, and eventually following through with strange and unexpected request. As if that is not enough, you will also be accompanied by some peculiar (to say the least) hosts.

You will make your way through several hidden object scenes as well as other puzzles, including adventure style and mini game types. If you get stuck, you will have no shortage of curious characters to help along the way. The visuals are amazingly pleasing to the eye and the 3D characters as well as some other effects truly give Vampireville an A+ in the hidden object game world.

Vampireville comes through with premium quality voice acting, awesome visual effects, and a storyline that is not only intriguing but also very well thought out and presented. There is no risk of becoming bored here, as developers have timed events perfectly to keep you going at a steady, if not swift pace, busying you with one task after another. Of course, if you find yourself overly perplexed, you may use the rechargeable hints.

Hidden object/adventure gamers will find Vampireville enchanting and amusing. Yes, it is supposed to be a thriller of sorts, but players will likely find the characters more endearing than spooky. With that said, Vampireville stands out from the rest and is sure to provide gamers with hours of mystery solving, object finding entertainment.
